Christmas in Blocks

Steve used a pickaxe to shape stars, orbs, and sheep out of glowstone. His buddies were making a diamond and emerald star to put on top of the Christmas tree outside as a torrential downpour insisted that they should take shelter.

"Would you like some fresh baked cookies or some pie?" asked Caitlin after seeing Steve and his disgruntled crew entered.

"I sure could use some. Thank you, my beloved," replied Steve as he picked up a pumpkin pie and several cookies. As they ate gratefully, Caitlin returned to her baking, filling entire chests with sweets. Meanwhile, the Steves filled chests with gifts like diamond armor and enchanted golden apples. They put signs up with screen names and Caitlin's chest was full of stacks of diamond blocks, wheat, and sugar cane. Suddenly, Steve took one wrong step and the chests and items burned.

"Noooooooooooooo!" cried Steve as he watched the fine wheat disintegrate, afraid of what Caitlin would think. He fell on his face and sobbed into a wool block, ashamed to show his face. Just then, he felt a warm embrace and those painfully sweet eyes were there again.

"Stevie? Are you okay? Do you need some torch light and cake?" the voice of an angel asked.
"Wait how do you know my..."
"You told me in The End when I saved you and how could I forget that face?"
"I stepped somewhere and all the gifts burned," Steve whimpered.
"You know that you are my gift, Stevie," Caitlin caressed Steve like she did in The End.

Wedding Day by Casting Crowns

The Minecraft Wedding Theme Song

Steve thinks Caitlin is more beautiful than diamonds, but Caitlin doesn't know whether Steve means it or not. The endermen provide Caitlin with fine clothing and food, but never compliment her.

The meaning Behind The Lyrics:

"And all creation holds its breath" The other Steves do not know about Caitlin.

"But this worn and weary maiden is not the bride that he sees" Steve did not see a hostage of the Ender Dragon when he saw Caitlin. He saw someone more beautiful than all the diamond blocks in the Minecraft World.

"She has danced in golden castles. She has crawled in beggars' dust." Caitlin is provided with fine clothes and items, but knows she is merely a hostage.

"When someone dries your tears, when someone wins your heart and says you're beautiful when you don't know you are." Caitlin has never heard sincere compliments until Steve came, but Steve adores Caitlin for who she is.

"Love has come and finally set you free." Steve set Caitlin free because of his love for her.

Complete the Story

A Very Minecraft Christmas

Steve and the others were preparing for Christmas, a time when all was well. Even hostile mobs got in the holiday spirit by not attacking as much. Porkchops, cake, mushroom stew, steak, pumpkin pie, and cookies quickly filled chests and inventories. Songs about Jeb, Notch, and Dock played in jukeboxes. Suddenly, disaster struck. There was a shaking in the ground and...

The First Minecraft Wedding Part 2

"All I see are endermen. They give me no compliments, let alone mean it," said Caitlin. Steve was shocked at someone so beautiful never receiving honest compliments. He wanted to make a vow with Caitlin to be there for her, to deliver her from this and show her the overworld. However, he did not feel any of his ideas were adequate, because he had to avert his gaze upon seeing her. Suddenly, endermen started attacking Steve, so Caitlin told them he was a friend. Therefore, the endermen left Steve alone.

"Steve?"
"Yes"
"You provide with the love I needed so desperately. I like how you are not cruelly beautiful like the endermen. I want to show my commitment to you, but don't know how.
" Me neither." Steve finished his battle with the Ender dragon and collected the Ender pearls. Affer that, they went to the portal and both exited the End for good. Steve led Caitlin to his home and she admired everything from the cats and dogs to the light.

"Caitlin?"
"Yes, my beloved Steve?"
"I have an idea and to carry it out many other Steves will be working hard. You will need to pardon
our noise for the night. Your bed will be the one by the painting."
"I will. Good night, Steve."
"Good night, Caitlin." Sleeping on a bed was new to Caitlin since they exploded in The End. She
drifted into a deep sleep with the welcome sensation of warm blankets caressing her like she held
Steve after falling from the spire. Meanwhile, several Steves crafted elaborate things they have never crafted before.

"Will she like this?"
"Spin those diamonds!"
"We need more wool and diamonds."
"Use gold for the table."
"Pork chops over spider eyes, not the fermented kind."
"Mix in the good lapis lazuli dye."
"Put an apple on top."

Caitlin awoke with the sun in her eyes, another new and welcome sensation. She picked up a chicken  egg and ate it. The endermen always made egg substitute, which tasted nothing like the rich eggs of  the overworld. She put on the dress the Steves made for her and followed the red wool path to Steve, who had to close his eyes because of her beauty. They said their vows and had a wild party with creepers afterwards.

The First Minecraft Wedding Part 1

The First Minecraft Wedding

This is not one of those tacky stories. However, you have to play Minecraft to appreciate it.

Caitlin yearned to see the overworld. She was trapped in The End with only endermen to care for her.  They roasted mooshrooms for Caitlin and made fine clothes for her, but the endermen never comforted her. The Ender Dragon made sure no one passed, so sneaking out was impossible.

" I yearn to taste the sweet milk and cakes of the overworld. Will no one deliver me from this dr
eary land?" Caitlin asked the End portal. It did not respond, but she nodded. Then, Caitlin wept while sitting on the edge of the portal, in a state of hopelessness. At that moment, she climbed up on an obsidian spire and gazed upon The End, with the dragon flying aimlessly, waiting for someone to attack. Endermen wandered around waiting to do Caitlin's bidding.

Meanwhile, Steve was tired of seeing the same face every day. All he saw
were other Steves. One day, he mined for diamonds and found 20, but he still had a feeling of emptiness, like something--or someone was missing, so he gathered his
Eyes of Ender and searched various strongholds looking for the Ender Portal. When he found it, he put the Eyes of Ender in and jumped into the portal to battle the Ender Dragon
, an attempt to regain his full confidence. Clad in diamond armor and bearing
a diamond sword, he struck the Ender Dragon until it attacked him, knocking him
off the spire. He tumbled towards the ground and landed hard, leaving him with barely enough health
to quiver in his sheer agony.

At the sight of this, Caitlin rushed over and ordered the endermen to get
plenty of Nether-grown mushrooms and a crafting table. They obeyed and teleported to the location immediately. Caitlin worked fervently and used Ender milk to keep Steve alive. When the stew was
ready, Caitlin spooned the stew into Steve's mouth and he awoke  in a daze. Then, he looked upon
Caitlin's sweet black eyes,  something he did not see in other Steves.

"Hello there, Steve,"said Caitlin, trying to get him to respond.
"I cannot look at your eyes," Steve murmured, averting his gaze.

"What do you mean?" asked Caitlin, concerned that Steve might have a diamond shard in his eye.
"You are so beautiful and I'm just average," replied Steve
